About Latch & Thrive Co.
I’m Annika Gill, RN, IBCLC, and founder of L&T Co.
I thought breastfeeding would come naturally when my first daughter was born. I was a nurse, had grown up around breastfeeding, and felt prepared. But our start was unexpectedly difficult—a medical induction, a baby who couldn’t latch, and donor milk before we even left the hospital. I spent weeks triple feeding—pumping, nursing, and supplementing—while trying to find the right help. It took nine weeks before feeding began to feel natural. When it finally did, breastfeeding became one of the most healing and deeply bonding experiences of my life.
That experience is what led me to become an IBCLC. My mission is simple: to make feeding support both highly skilled and truly supportive—because both matter for you and your baby. Latch & Thrive Co. exists to offer that kind of care. I believe that increasing breastfeeding rates can transform not only individual health, but the well-being of entire communities. Whether you're facing latch issues, supply concerns, bottle challenges, or just need someone to walk with you through the unknowns—L&T Co. is a place to find clarity and confidence.
